Abstract:To determine the effects of diferent mulch colors and lime nitrogen treatments on the growth and development,yield,quality,andsoil fertility of greenhouse lettuce,‘Hongjianye'lettce was used as the experimental material.A two-factorrandomized block design was employed,with two mulchcolors(silverand black)and three fertilizer treatments (conventional fertilization,greenhouse disinfectionwithout fertilization,and greenhouse disinfection with balanced fertilization) resulting insix treatments.Plant botanical traits,yield, qualityand soil propertieswere investigated and analyzed.The results showed thatusing fumigation disinfection + balanced fertilization with silver colored mulch could reduce soil salinity,increase organic mater and total nitrogencontent,and promote letuce growth. yielding the highest output of2 450.11 kg/667 m2, which was 34.53% higher than conventional fertilization with silver mulch,and 12.27 % higher than the same fertilizer treatment with black mulch.It also increased the total protein content and vitamin Ccontent of the lettuce.These results could provide some reference for the management of continuous cropping obstacles in protected vegetable production and autumn and winter lettuce production in the Rudong region.
