Abstract： Luzhou is a late-maturing production area for longan production in China， with obvious advantages in longan cultivation.Under the current circumstances where existing longan varieties fail to meet consumer demand，optimizing thevariety structure of Luzhou longan holds significant importance for improving fruit quality and enhancing orchard profitability.This article summarized the current regional distribution status ofLongan in Luzhou，analyzed the existing variety structure and harvest time distribution，explored the main problems in the variety structure，and proposed adjustment suggestions.It was pointed out that measures such as strengthening resource conservation and innovative utilization， expanding the scale of new variety breeding， strengthening the training of professional and technical personnel，carrying out demonstrationand display of excellent new varieties， promoting research on corresponding cultivation techniques，and increasing the promotion of new varieties would be crucial for adjusting the structure of Longan varieties in Luzhou and increasing the benefits of regional Longan industry.
