Abstract:To intuitively demonstrate the crucial role of plant protection work invegetableproduction and objectively evaluate its effectiveness andcontributionrate in controlling diseases,pests,and weedsduring tomato production,a pilot evaluation of the contribution rate of plant protection for tomato disease,pest,and weed control wasconducted in Zoucheng city.This experiment involved setting up strict integrated control zones, farmer self - control zones,and completely unmanaged control zones,followed by yield measurement through multi-site experiments and scientific assessment. The results showed that compared with the selfprotection area,the control eficiency of graymold,late blight,viral diseases,anthracnose,silverleaf whitefly, cotton bollworm,spider mites,aphids increased by 21.97% , 14.58% , 21.78% , 16.6% , 5.9% , 5.46% , 12.52% , 17.11% ,and the yield increased by 40.61% in integrated control zones. Through calculation, the contribution rate of plant protection to the prevention and control of diseases,pests and weeds in tomatoes in Zoucheng city in 2024 was 53.53% . This evaluation explored the management of tomato disease and pest control under protected cultivation conditions,aiming to provide data and theoretical support for thesafe production,quality improvement,and efficiency enhancement of tomatoes in other regions in the future.
