Research Progress on Red Pear Bud Mutation Breeding

Abstract：Red pear is a distinctive fruit tree species with high nutritional and horticultural value.Bud mutation breeding isone of the important ways forred pear breeding.In this paper，the basic theory of bud mutation breeding of red pear was reviewed，and the basic situation of bud mutation breeding at home and abroad was summarized，including the genetic variation analysis candidate gene mining of bud mutation varieties of red pear，the mechanism of bud mutation breeding of red pear，the physiology of fruit and leaves，the tissue structure，comparative identification and mechanism of bud mutation varieties of red pear.The main problems in red pear bud mutation breeding were summarized. And its development trend was prospected， in order to promote the and sustainable development of red pear breeding industry.
