Key Weather Disasters and Disaster Prevention and Reduction Measures for Vegetable Production in Rudong County

Abstract： Vegetables are a major component of agricultural production in Rudong county，and are also crop highly susceptible to weather conditions.Based on an analysis of the climatic characteristics of Rudong county from2014 to 2O23，this study examined several types of weather-related disasters that frequently occur in the region and their impacts.It proposed targeted countermeasures to guideplanting planning，adjust sowing periods to avoid periods of frequent adverse weather，promote the use of agricultural facilities in production， mitigate yield fluctuationscausedby disasters，and stabilize vegetable prices.These measures providea certain reference for effectively preventing and reducing disasters in vegetable production.
