Abstract：Aschili pigmentsare being increasinglyused，people are demanding higher levels ofspiciness in red chili peppers.Inorder to adapt to changes in theconsumer market，this experiment introduced 23 red chili pepper varieties，including‘LP-7’‘Dihuo’and‘Tianlong 26’for cultivation.These red chili peppers were studied for their plant phenotype traits，quality traits，disease resistance，yield and other aspects.The results showed that some varieties such as‘LP -9 ’‘LP -1 ’‘Super Spicy No.9’‘LP -2 ’‘LP-11’and‘LP- -3 ’had good adaptability，excellnt traits，high spiciness，strong diseaseresistance，and high yield，making them suitable for planting and promotion in western Liaoning.
