Automated Grafting Technology and Its Application in Vegetable andFlower Seedling Cultivation

Abstract:Grafting technology is a crucial method to overcome continuous cropping obstacles,enhance vegetable disease resistance,and increase yield.Traditional manual grafting faces challenges such as low efciency and unstable survival rates,making it unsuitable for large-scaleproduction demands.Automated grafting technology integrates biomimeticprinciples with intelligent equipment,achievinga transition from “human experience”to“precision control”in plant grafting. This study systematically analyzed the core technologies and operational processes of automated grafting,using major production areas in Shouguang and

Qingzhou,as casestudies.It validated the technology'sscalability in vegetableand flowerseedling industries. By improving quality,increasing eficiency,and reducing costs,this technology drived the seedling industry toward a more technology-intensive model,providing essential technical support for high-quality development in modern agriculture.
