TheEffectofPhotoperiodon theStomatal Characteristics andPhotosynthesisofBlueberryLeaves

Abstract:To explore the influence of photoperiod onthephotosynthetic characteristicsand chlorophyl fluorescence parameters ofblueberyplants,and screen thephotoperiod parametersthat facilitate photosynthesis in blueberry seedlings,using‘Aurora’and‘Cooper’as experimental materials,with a 10h/14 h photoperiodasthecontrol,fourdierentphotoperiodtreatments wereset(14h/10h,18h/6h,22h/2h,24h/h). Thestomatal characteristics,photosynthetic characteristics,andchlorophyll fluorescence parametersof blueberry leaves under each treatment were measured. The results showed that under the 14h/10h (20 photoperiod treatment,thestomatal index and photosynthetic characteristics of blueberres were significantly higher than those under other photoperiod treatments.The PSII maximum photochemical efficiency and photoprotection abilityof the continuous light treatment blueberies were slightly lower,and continuous light treatment for7d would cause a decrease in the bluebery plant’sphotosynthesis rate and diferent degrees of photoinhibition.The optimal light cycle for blueberry growth was 14h/10 h of darkness.
