Analysis of the Structural Characteristics and Trends in China's Apple and Processed Product Exports

Abstract: Inorder to accurately assess the impact of exports on the developmentofChina's apple industry,this paper conducted a statistical analysis of China's customs apple export data from 2016 to 2O23 in three categories: fresh fruit,concentrated juice,and apple dried fruit.The results showed that China's exports of fresh fruit and concentrated juice had declined significantly in recent years due to the deterioration of the international trade environment and other factors,while exports of apple dried fruit had grown rapidly.The export countries or regions of apple and its processed products showed a trend of diversification. Suggestions wereputforwardasfolows:takingactive measures to stabilizethetraditional market,withspecial emphasison the export of concentrated juice; seizing the opportunities brought aboutby the changes in export structure and starting from a high level to promote the export of apple processed products such as apple dried fruit; and actively developing emerging markets to effctively mitigate risks arising from international trade uncertainties.
