Influence of high and low temperature cycles on the macrodimensional size and position accuracy of the rod assembly

Abstract:Inorder to studythe changes inmacro-dimensional size and position accuracyof compositecomponents after highandlowtemperaturecycling,fivebatchesof twocarbonfibers(M4OJBandT7OoSC)were testedatthemateriallevel,the bendingstiffessofcompositecomponent-levelrectangularpipefitings wastested,andthedimensional geometricaccuacy of therodassemblybeforeandafterhighandlow temperaturecycles was tested.Theresultsshowedthatthe maximumceficientof variationof tensile strength andelastic modulusof M4OJBcarbon fiber bundleyarn was O.O34and O.012 in 5 batches,ndthe maximumcoeffcientof variationof tensilestrengthandelastic modulus in5batchesofT7oSC was 0.043 and0.034.Theaverage bending stiffessof M4OJB gradecarbon fibercompositerectangularpipe fitings intheXdirection was 4849.4N·m² and7266.6 N ⋅m2 in theY direction of the five batches,and the stiffness trend in the two directions was the same,and thedispersion wassmall.After12.5cycles,therelativedistance from theXOY planechanged significantlyand the geometricaccuacyrelatedtotheYOZplaneremainedbasicallyunchanged,andtheoveralldimensional geometricaccuracy variables did not exceed O.15 mm.
