Study on the preparation and properties of composites made from viscose carbon fiber cloth/thermoplastic resin

Abstract:Composite material was preparedusing the viscosecarbonfibercloth/thermoplasticresinbythefilamentwinding proce,anditsinternalqualityandmechanical properties,thermalproperties,andcombustionperformanceweretested.The results showthatterearenoobviouscracks,delamination,orotherdefectsinsidethcompositematerial testpiece,andthe density value fluctuates between 1.442-1.457 g/cm3.The interlaminar shear strength isbetween 20-26.1 MPa,and heoxygenindexcombustionratefluctuatesbetweenO.Oo6-0.O08 mm/s,which isslightlylower thanthatof thecommonlyused polypropyleneresinreinforced phenolicresin composite insulation material,and has excellntcombustionresistance.The thermal conductivity at RT, 100∘ C,and 200∘C fluctuates between O.532-0.689 W/(m.K),and the specific heat capacity fluctuates betweenO3-1851J/(kg.K).Withtheincreaseof temperature,thethermalconductivitychanges slightlyandthespecificheatcapacityincreases.Comparedwiththepolypropyleneresincarbon fiber/phenolicresincomposite material,thethermalconductivityandspecificheatcapacityofthematerialaemoreadvantageous,ndicatingthatthematerialhasbeerthermalinsulationperformance and thermal stability,and has more advantages in high-temperature environments.
