Study on influence factors of bonding performance between composite materials and metals

Abstract:Composite materialsandmetalconnectionsbelong toheterogeneous materialconnections,andadhesiveconnectionsare widelyusedintheaerospacefield.Thefactors thatafectthebonding performance mainlyincludethematerialof the adhesive,thesurface treatmentofthebondingsurface,thesizeof thepresetgluelump,thediferenceofcoefficentof thermalexpansionofdiferentmaterials,temperatureconditions,etc.Theeffectsof tematerialoftheadhesive,thesizeof the preset gluelump,andthe highandlowtemperatureonthe bonding performance were studied betweencomposite materialsandmetal through methodssuchas mechanical testingandnon-destructivetesting.Theexperimentalresultsshow that the materialof theadhesive,thesizeoftheadhesive,andthehighandlowtemperatureenvironmentallhaveacertaindegree of impactonthebonding performancebetweencarbonfibercompositematerialsandaluminumalloygaskets.Thisstudyisof great significance for the design and bonding processoptimization of aircraft composite material structures.
