Abstract：Flos Sophorae Immaturus（FSI），thedried immatureflower buds of Sophora japonicaL，isatraditional Chinesemedicinal with heat-clearing，blood-coling，and hemostatic properties.FSI primarily contains flavonoids， phenolicacids，sugars，proteins，and amino acids，among which flavonoids are its main bioactive constituents and have been the primary focus of recent researchonFSI.Extensive studies have demonstrated thatFSI exhibits diverse pharmacologicalactivities，including antioxidant，anti-inflammatory，antibacterial，antitumor，hypoglycemic，and hypolipidemic efects.Furthermore，FSI serves as anatural pigment，whitening functional additive，eco-friendlydye， and green reductant for nanomaterials，demonstrating significantdevelopment potential and broad application prospects in food processing，biomedicine，cosmetics manufacturing，textile industry，and chemical engineering.This review systematicallsummarizes recent advances in the chemical constituents，pharmacological activities，and applications of FSI，aiming to provide valuable references for its further development and utilization.
