中医术语翻译原则的译本实践与传播效度关联研究

——基于《黄帝内经》三部英译本的实证分析

Abstract：Consistency，back translatability，simplicityand ethnicityarethe four traditional Chinesemedicine（TCM） terminologytranslationprinciplesthatcanrelativelyreflectthesubjectivityoftranslatorsandthediferencesintheir behaviors.However，there are few empirical studies on theapplication of these principles in the translation of TCM classics andontheircorelationwiththeeffectsofoverseas transmission.Basedonthethree Englishversionsof Huang Di Nei Jingtranslatedby ZhaoguoLi，Paul U.Unschuld，andLiansheng Wuandhis sonQi Wu，this study investigatesand analyzestheoverseas transmissonof the three translations fromtwo aspects：profesionalbookreviews and thecomments ofoverseaspublicreaders，examines the degree of compliancewith four translation principles bythe terminology translations indiferentversions，anddiscusses therelationshipbetweentranslation principlesand theacceptanceof the translations.Itisfoundthat Unschuld'stranslationisquiteinfluential inoverseasacademiccirclesandhasagreat transmissionadvantageovertheothertwotranslations；Unschuld'stranslation has extremelyhigh degreeof adherenceto thefour translation principles，whilethe other twoversions have failed to folow the four translationprinciplesasa consistentguide，resultinginvariedlanguageformsandstylesandunstabletranslationquality;thetransmissionefectiveness of thethre translations isdirectlyproportionaltothedegree towhichtheyapplythefourtranslationprinciples.Thestudy meanssignificanttothedevelopmentoflanguage strategiessuchas the necesityandapplicabilityofthebasic principles of TCM terminology translation.
