Abstract:Objective:To evaluate detection performance of anorovirus immunochromatographic(IC)test kit and provide evidence for itspractical application.Methods:Atotalof10O diarrheal samples werecollectedand tested in parallel using the IC test kitandtheRT-qPCR methodsrecommended by quarantine industrystandards.The detection effcacyoftheICtestkitfornorovirusanditsgenotyping wasaessdthroughstatisticalanalysisofresultsfromboth methods.Results:The sensitivity,specificity,and concordance rate of the IC detection kit reached 96% 100% ,and 97% ,respectively. Compared with the standard detection methods,the MeNemar chi-square value was 1.333,and the P -valuewas O.248,indicatingnostatistical diference.Theresultsoffurtherdetectionof differentnorovirusgenotypes showed that theIC detectionkits demonstrated asensitivityof 100.0% for the norovirusGI.5,GI.3,andGⅡ.7 genotypes, while the sensitivities for the G II .4 and G II.17 genotypes were 94. 4% and 87.5% ,respectively. Conclusion: TheICdetection kithashighsensitivityandspecificity,thedetectionresultsshowhighconsistencywithRT-qPCR detection,making it suitable as a screening method for norovirus in primary healthcare institutions.
