Abstract: The square wave interference in the aeromagnetic anomaly detection data is very likely to be misjudged as the magnetic target signal by the magnetic anomaly signal detection system.A false alarm reduction method is proposed for the square wave interference in the aeromagnetic survey data.Based on the orthogonal basis function (OBF)detection to initially alert suspected magnetic anomaly signals,the algorithm estimates the slant range and uses OBF inverse transformation to obtain inversion signals adapted to the detection scene,effectively eliminating square wave interference using waveform similarity comparison methods. Finally,verification experiments are conducted using simulated and real data. The results indicate that compared to traditional OBF detection,the proposed waveform similarity comparison method for filtered signal and inversion signal can efectively eliminate square wave interference,and meet the application requirements of low false alarm rate in the magnetic detection system.
