AbstractAstudyascoductedtoivestigatetereasoableaplicationmountofquicklieanditsefetohepreventionandctrolof tobaccorotandstediseasinaciictobacplantingsolsofentacidityvelsThesultssoedtatfostroglycidcil(p 4.0-4.5 ),the mean price and output value of tobacco leaves were the highest with the quicklime application of 1500kg/hm2 .For mildly acidic soils ( ),the highest mean price of tobacco leaves was achieved with the quicklime application of 1 125kg/hm2 .For slightly acidic soils (pH5.1-5.6) ,the highest yield,mean price,and output value of tobacco leaves were obtained with the quicklime application of 750kg/hm2 .The applicationof anappropriate amount of quicklime inacidic tobacco-planting soilscan promote the growth anddevelopmentoflueuredbaccoaethseasesistancefbaccondeducethideneadseaseidexofotdis ses.
