AbstractToanalyetecurrntsiuatioofpopulationdevelopmentinpoverty-strickenareasndexploresustaabledevelopmntpatsfor thepopulationintesearas.TisudyostructsasustaiablepopulationdevelopntssteforpovetysricenareasbasdotUitd NationsSustanableDevelopmentGoalsTakingthetypicalpoverty-trickenareasiGansuProvinceasxamples，descriptivestatistical methodswereusedtoomprehensivelyaalyzetepopulationstatusofthsudyaraandtoexploretheimpactofcoomicevio cial environment，and resource environment on sustainable population development. Research has found that ： ① Affected by factors such as changesiertiltspdataltesdprosioocdiisonasii are facing changes such as slowing population growth，changing age structures，and improving resident educationlevels; ② The economic developentandlivinadadsfsidentsioverrckeareasopleechotrndteosumptiosutureisgadlyti zing ; ③ Socialservicesandlivingconditiosofrsdentshavebeenoptimied，butbalancedurban-ruraldevelopmenstillfaceschenges; ④ （2 Sustainabledevelopntinagicultueasachiedcrtainesults，utteionstlledstobepidtolancingteelatiosipbeten ecologicalevntpeidipoviglualpoductioProsdingsugesisodatilai policiesithferilithngtlatoofucatioalsousdiprovgteoalsuitysAtth itisnecessaytacesidents’awaresfucaioalqitnddrqualityplntplonttngdprooed velopmentofoaglturalidustrsrooteodagicluraltolondprovidelicsupportoimpoethualityoflifed self-development ability of residents in Gansu Province and similar poverty-stricken areas.
