AbstractBasedontheChinaHouseholdFinanceSurvey（CHFS）data，weexploretheimpactandheterogeneityofarmlandtransferrentson foodlandreductionbehaviorintwodimensions：“non-grain”andarablelandabandonment.Teresultsshowthattheincreaseinfarmland transferenthassigificatposiietootht“og”oftrasfeigsubjectsdabandotofidlndase ringhouseholds.Comparedwiththelargescaleoerators，teimpactofteincreaseinfarandtransferentonodnaryfarersisresig nificant.Afterosideringteedogeeitysue，teectoffarlandtransferentot“ongrain”oftrasfeinggentsndteaban donmenoffarmlandbytransferinguthouseholdsisstillsignificant，andthefidingsremainrobustaftertepropensityalueatching （PSM）ethodIofsitidtoietiallostpgsfuallsee structureinvsmnttoprodoeratiofeyregicualusotolofablelandndieasetly and high-quality food products.
