Abstract:【Objective】Toaddress theneedsofforestfirepreventionandsuppresion,anevaluationmethodwasdevelopedfor assessingthefire-protectionfunctionofforestroadnetworks.Themethodcharacterizesthespatialdistrbutionoffirefightingcapacity identifiesareaswithfunctionaldeficienciesndproposestargetedimprovementstrategies,terebysupportingsustaiableforst managementandmultifunctionaldevelopment.【Method】Basedongeographicinformationsystemtechnologyandmulti-criteria decision-makingmethds,thissudytakestheLutouexperimentalforestfarmastheesearcharea.Fromtechnical,onoicand environmentaldimensions,tenevauationindicatorsareelected,icludingoadnetworkdnsityndteproportioofigheel densityareas,road coverage,accessibilitytowater sources,proportionof roadswithin the 2km service area of firefighting facilities, mileage-basedbnefit,leagebasedcost,proportinofoutespasingtoughsloperestrctedeasteruduatioted areas,andNDV-restrictedaeas.Theanalytichierarchyprocessandentropyweightmethodareemployedtodeterminethesubjective andobjectiveweightsofinfuencingfactors,respectivelyandthecomprehensiveweightsarecalculatedusingtheweightedaverage method.Ontebasisofinicatoritealassgentandeightintegation,afre-protectiocapacityvaluationodelfoefost roadnetworkisonstructed【Result】verallf-protectiopefoaneoftforestoadnewrkisaluatedaseelwih particularlystrongpforaeitesorefingcessbiltndwatersourceavlablitysuigtatoteasaeie timelyassistanceintheventoflfre.Howeerisuentfefhtigcoverageisientifdineouthwesteado partsoftheforestfa,idicatingtheedfortagetedupgadesandimprovementstothoadetworkintseareas.【Cousio】A multi-dimensioalevauationindexsystemandmodelwasestablishedforthefire-protectionfunctionofforestoadnetwoksprovidesa theoreticalfoundtionfoaessngforestfreesponsecapacityndfersasytematicandsietficbasisforthequalityimpoent and upgrading of forest road networks.
