Abstract:【Objective】TheoakspecieswithinthenaturalarborealforestsJingningSheAutonomousCounty,ZhejiangProvince, wereselectedastheseachsubjectstoinvestigateteapropratenessincoporatingforeststandspatialstructureintodiidual treebasalareagrowthmodelsoak forestsanditspotential toenhancetheaccuracy growthprediction.【Method】Basedonthe continuousforestresouceinventorydatafrom ZhejiangProvincein2014and2019,integratingforeststandspatialstructurefactors sucha theHegyicompetitionindex,completengling,andaggregationindex.Byemployingthetropymethod,acomprsive spatialstructureIndex(S)isonstrctedtullyeflecttespatialdistrbtionndcompeitiveelatioshistrs.Utlgte upper exclusion method, the S is categorized into three distinct levels and introduced as a dummy variable into four commonly appliedtheoreialothuatioselyacheso-machprtdLgstcisegatibls individual tree basal area growth models inclusive the s dummy variable. Subsequently,acomparative analysisis conducted with the fundamental growth models that do not incorporate the S dummy variable to assess the influence spatial structure on growth prediction accuracy.【Result】1) S exertsasignificantly positive influence on the growth breast-height basal area;2) incorporating S as adummyvariableintothefourfoundational growth modelsenhanes the modelsfitingaccuracyandpredictiveprecision;3)among all the models tested,the basal area growth model that integrates s asa dummy variable,based on the Johnson-Schumacher model, demonstratestheighstpredictiveaccuracy【Conclusion】Incorporatingstandspatialstructureintoindividualtreebasalaragowth modelsisnotonlysuitableforapplicationbutalsoimprovestheauracytregrowthpredictions.Holdingsubstantial teoreticaland practical significance for forest management and ecological conservation.
