Analysis of Long - term Water -Logging Hazards in 58 Woody Garden Plants in Baoji

Abstract：Aftera rainstorm and mountain torrents in the urban area of Baoji，low-lying areas experienced （2 10～15 days of water accumulation. This study investigated water-logging damage to woody plants in parks， roadside greenbelts，residential areas，and institutional green spaces located in these flood-prone zones.Based on external growth responses，such as changes in leaves and branches，clasification criteria for water -logging tolerance levels of woody garden plants were established.Using these criteria，58 woody garden plant species were evaluated，clasified，and ranked according totheir tolerance.The characteristics and patterns of damage caused by 10～15 days of inundation were analyzed，and recommendations were made for post -flood restoration measures and for selecting and applying plant species in urban greening projects in flood -prone environments.
