Abstract：Bacillus velezensis，asanewtypeofprobiotic，iswidelyused infieldssuchas industrialfermentationand agricultural production.Thefunctionsofactive substancesproduced by Bacilusvelezensis，suchasenzyme productionand disease resistance etc，were introduced in detail.Its latest application statusin livestock and aquaculture were reviewed.In viewof the current problems existing in Bacillus velezensis，the future research focuses and development directions were prospected，which provided references for the in-depth research and practical application of Bacillusvelezensis.
