Abstract:R2R3-MYB transcription factorsare the largest MYB subfamily inplantsandare widelyinvolved inregulating plant growth and development and stress response.R2R3-MYB gene family of Chinese chestnut was genome-widely identified,andthe chromosomedistributionof these genes,subcelular localization prediction,phylogeneticrelationships, proteinmotif,gene structureandsequencealignmentofconserved domains wereanalyzed.Finally,the expresionof the CmR2R3-MYB gene familyunder drought stresswas analyzed by transcriptomeand RT-qPCR.The results showed thattotal 141 CmR2R3-MYB genes were unequall distributed on12chromosomes and1 contig fragment.And the phylogenetic tree divided theminto6groups.There were7CmR2R3-MYB genes diferentiallyexpressedunderdroughtstress.Among them, CmMYB89 was upregulated,while CmMYB32,CmMYB95,CmMYB91,CmMYB119,CmMYB131andCmMYB104 were downregulated,which indicatedthatthese7genescouldbe involvedindroughtresistanceofChinesechestnut.Aboveresults provided theoretical foundationsfor furtherexploring theroleoftheR2R3-MYBgenefamilyinresponse todroughtstresof Chinese chestnut.
