Abstract：The theory of wind medicinals soothing the liverholds that wind medicinals notonly have the functionof dispelling external wind，butalso have theefectofscateringanddisipating internal wind.Itcanexertthe pharmacological efectsof wind medicinalssoothing the liverthrough multiple targets and aspectssuchas dispersing by acrid flavors of medicinals，moistening，raising yang，invigorating blood，calming the mind，and resolving phlegm， and treat various dificult liver diseases caused by liver qi generating wind.The academic characteristics of ZHANG Zhongjing's Shang Han Za Bing Lun（Treatiseon Cold Damage and Miscellaneous Diseases）regarding the use of wind medicinals were organized and excavated in the paper，and Zhongjing’s methods of applying wind medicinals were studied.These have theoretical guidance and clinicalpractical significance for improving the therapeutic ffectsof clinical treatment of difficult liver diseases.
