Four Medical Cases of Gynecological Diseases Treated with Classical Formulas

Abstract：This article introduces four medical cases of the clinical application of clasical formulas in gynecology， namelyDanggui Shaoyao Powder，Wenjing Decoction，Jiao'ai Decoction，and Gegen Qinlian Decoction.Danggui ShaoyaoPowder has three main efects：first，it promotes blood circulation；second，it nourishesblood，sothes the liver，fortifies the spleen，and drains dampness；third，itharmonizes bloodand promotes diuresis.It is mainly used for thetreatment of abdominalpain during pregnancy，targeting the pathogenesis of "the liver-spleen disharmony leading tothedisease ofqi andblood".Wenjing Decoction primarilywarms the meridians anddissipatescold，nourishes blood，and dispels blood stasis.It targets the pathogenesis of "cold，stasis，deficiency，and heat"，that is， deficiency cold of the thoroughfare vessel and conception vessel，static blood obstruction，insuffciencyof yin blood， andheatduetostasisanddeficiency，andisused forthetreatmentof irregular intermenstrual bleeding.Jiao'ai Decoction mainly nourishes blood，stops bleeding，regulates menstruation，and prevents miscarriage.It targets the pathogenesisof"the inabilityof keeping yinqi internallyand controling menstrual blooddue tothedeficiencyof the thoroughfare vesselandconception vessel"，and canbeused forthe treatmentofrestlessfetus.Gegen Qinlian Decoction is aclassic formula for fever withdiarhea，with themain effects of clearing internal heatandventing pathogens.It targetsthe core pathogenesis of "fullnessin the middleand interalheat"，and is used forthe treatmentof delayed menstruation.
