Abstract： It was clarified that the characteristics of gilt copper Jin-style belt plaques unearthed from the Western Jin Dynasty’s tomb in Shangjie District， Zhengzhou City through the method of macro photography.This case made by casting and the production process of casting， chiseling，and gilding was adopted，which based on the analysis of processing traces.In the middle and late period of the Western Jin Dynasty，the carving technique characterized by triangular and concave hemispherical traces on metalcraft's surface were used in the capital of Luoyang， where the afiliated workshops of the royal.Referring to the excavation status of similar artifacts，adetailed restoration ofthe usage and patern of this case were carrid out.
