Abstract： Shif temple and Tonglu temple Cliff Statues are both located in Jiaocheng County， Shanxi Province，in the southeast section of Lvliang Mountains and Ciyao River basin. Shifosi now remains 4 niches with 11 statues.Tonglusi now remain 17 niches with 4O statues.According to the style ofthe statue， Shifosi was excavated during the Sui Dynasty，Tonglusi was excavated during the Early Tang Dynasty.The discovery of these two cliffstatues provides important information for improving the chronological sequence and statue content of the grottoes in Jiaocheng area.
