Abstract： Research into Guizhou’s history during the Shang and Zhou periods has long been hindered by a lack of archaeological and textual evidence，leading to slow progress.Recently， however，the growing body of archaeological discoveries has enhanced our understanding of this period.Based on the latest findings，this paper presents a preliminary discusson on the region's historical and cultural developments during this period from an archaeological perspective.
