The Acceptance and Sublation of Zhang Yan's Ci by Jiang Dunfu

-AStudy Centred on White Clouds in the Mountains MENG Yi-jun （College of Chinese Language and Literature， Soochow University，Suzhou ， Jiangsu）

Abstract：In the middleof the Qing Dynasty，there begana trend ofWhite Clouds in the Mountains，and Jiang Dunfu，who lived ina temple，came into contact with ZhangYan's Cibychance and admired the rigorous prosody and high quality，rebegan the composition after ten years，thus formally opening the path ofhis own Ci.Jiang Dunfu accepted many of Zhang Yan's creative techniques，but hisideological connotation was unique and innovative，showing the different life situations and states of mind of them. Jiang Dunfu's viewpoint of Ci was close to Changzhou Ci School and far from Zhejiang West Ci School， andhis‘Crevices into the Thin Edge of Knife'method required that he take in allcelebrities，which prompted him to gradually recognize the'empty and slippery'disease of Zhang Yan's Ci，thechange also reflected the rise and fall of Zhang Yan's status of Ci Circle in the late Qing.
