Study on nitrogen and phosphorus removal by air stripping reflux A2 /O-MBBR with double sludge system

Abstract In order to improve the efficiency of nitrogen and phosphorus removal of traditional A2/O and reduce energy consumption,the nitrification mixed liquid and sludge were refluxed by air stripping,and the filler was added to the aerobic pond to form an air stripping reflux A2/O. MBBR double sludge system. Thus the sludge age of nitrifying bacteria and phosphorus accumulation bacteria was independent of each other to strengthen the effect of denitrification and phosphorus removal,while achieving the purpose of reducing energy consumption. The effects of nitrification liquid reflux ratio,sludge reflux ratio and dissolved oxygen (DO) by air stripping reflux A2 /O-MBBR were researched. The results show that the average removal rates of TN and TP were 81.51% and 78% ,respectively,when the nitrification liquid reflux ratio was 300% . The average removal rates of TN and TP were 80.12% and 75.36% ,respectively,when sludge reflux ratio was 100% . The average removal rates of TN and TP were 82.59% and 77.07% ,respectively,when DO ranges from 2.0mg/L to 2.5mg/L
