Abstract:The weaning stage of piglets is confronted with challenges such as imperfect intestinal development, unbalanced microbial community,andan immature immune system,resulting in frequent intestinal diseasesand severelyafecting growthperformance.Thesearch foralternatives toantibioticsisurgent.Inthisstudy,Lactobacills reuteriLR1strainwasisolatedfromthefecesofhealthyweanedpiglets,anditsbiologicalcharacteristicswere analyzed,andtheefectofits metabolitereuterinonporcineintestinal epithelialcells(IPEC-J2)was explored.The results showed thattheLR1 strain grew bestat39.25Cand pH=6.387;reuterinhadsignificant antibacterial activity againstETEC K88,and the inhibitory efect increased with the increase of concentration;it hada time-and concentration-dependent effectonthesurvivalrateof IPEC-J2cell,withcytotoxicityintheearly stageandan increase in survival ratein the laterstage;different concentrationsof reuterin(2 ,20 μL/mL , 50μL/mL )

inducedthedifferentialexpressionof interleukinsand chemokines in IPEC-J2cels.This studyprovidesatheoretical basis fortheapplicationofreuterinasanantibiotic-free feedaditiveinpigletbreedingand helps topromotethegreen and healthy development of the livestock industry.
