Abstract：This article introduces the principle，systemcomposition，and control ideas of the Spaltmessen mit MobilenEinheiten （SME），and discusses its characteristics and advantages in the measurement ofgap and flush inthe automotive industry.The project standardsof SMEaregiven，and the current situationand future trendsareanalyzed. Solutions are proposed for the challenges in big data processing and system instability.
