Abstract：In order to promote the practical application of chemical micro-foaming polypropylene material as a lightweightmeans，thispaperfirstlydiscussestheapplication feasibilityofchemicalmicro-foamingondoorinterior panels in terms of material property definition，structural design，CAE simulationand mold flow analysis.Then， diferencesbetweenconventional injectionmoldingand chemical micro-foaming injectionmoldingarecompared. Finall，the structure design and process requirements of chemical micro-foaming products based on core-back process is proposed，and the application of chemical micro-foaming process is prospected.
