Abstract：Improper handing of thepower bateries of New Vnergyvehicle（NEV） throughoutthe life cycle will cause environment pollution and waste of resources.This paperdiscusses the current status of environmental protection technology for NEV power battry in termsofcurrent materialsselection，recovery systems and policysupport.Italso exploresthedevelopmentdirectionofpower batery environmental protection technologyfrom 3aspectsof innovationof materials，upgrading of recovery systems and follow-up of support policies.
