Abstract:As the core supporting component of the leather cuting machine,the lightweight frame can directlyreduce manufacturing costs and improve product economy.This study conducts a lightweight study on the existing frametypeleather cuting machine frame.Analyzing the static performance of the rack,direct topology optimization of the whole was caried out based on the variable density method.The top rectangular tube model was changed and rectangular holes were opened.The botom of therack where the optimization results were unclear was filledand global topology optimization was performed to re-determine the structure.Layout,and then use the polynomial regression response surface method to iterativelycalculate the rectangular hole sizeand structural position size for final parameter optimization to achieve double lightweighting of therack.Theresults show thatthe improvedrack still meets thedesign requirements,and its mass is reduced by about 10.5% ,which reduces its manufacturing cost and can provide a reference for the lightweight design of frame-type racks.
