Performance Analysis of Cutting Machine Bearings Based on Chaos Theory

Abstract:Bearing performance evolution analysis is of great significance for the operation of the whole machine.In order torealize bearing performance evolution analysis based on the full-life-cycle vibration time series,Weibull distribution basedon statistics principle is used to analyze the vibration time sub-series ofthe normal operation,mild fault andserious faultof the bearing.Secondly,the Hurst index can becalculated to characterize thechaotic characteristics ofthe vibration time subsequences ofeach running state.The resultsshow that there is a high goodnessof fit between the Weibullprobabilitydensity function and the actual vibration time series whenthe bearing is running normaly.Bearing performance evolution is consistent with Weibull parameter changes,and Weibull parameter changes areconsistent with Hurst index changes,that is,with the increase inrunning time,the nonlinearityof vibration time series becomes higher and thus,bearing performance can be analyzed through Hurst index changes.
