Abstract:At present,most of the maintenance training and teaching of urban rail vehicles in China are carried out through video explanations or PPT,etc.The training content is flat,and the trainees can′t see or touch it,so it is diffcult to understandand master the content well. Therefore,although the trainers spend a lot of time and energy to train workers,the results obtainedare not satisfactory,and there is stil room for substantial improvement in the eficiencyand effectiveness of training. This paper proposes a pantograph maintenance training platform based on XR technology. It is based on intellgence,visualization and dataization,combined with the current teaching and training mode.By integrating information technology and physical facilities,simulating and restoring the internal structureof the physical facilities,the intelligence level of the physical training equipment is improved,and trainees can have zero-distance and transparent contact with the real objects.The platform uses inovative teaching methods such as mixed reality technology and extended reality technology to visually present information,establish a maintenance training system that combines virtual and real,and buildamaintenance training platform from students to trainees toamaintenance operator. The maintenance training platform solves the current diffculties in the field of maintenance and repair,such as the high safety risks of training and the dificulty in reproducing faults,and realizes situational teaching,safe teaching and immersive examinations. The application of XR technology in the maintenance training of pantograph for urban rail vehicles efectively reduces the equipment and labor costs required for training,improves training efficiency,and reduces the safety risks of actual operations.
