Study on the Key Technologies for Gangway of Suspended Monorail Cars

Abstract:As the track beam and the coupler of the suspended monorail car is located over the gangway system,it's impossible to adopt the supporting mode of the gangway of ground rail cars.To ensure the riding qualityand thecurve negotiating capability of the suspended train,during the design of the gangway,the consideration shallbe given not only to the maximum tensileand compression of the coupler and the plane curves on the track,but also to the working conditions of cars on the vertical curves suchas nodding and roling,whilefor the ground rail cars,theverticalcurves have a smaller efecton thecars than the plane curves,so it's generally not necessary to lay emphasis on it. Based on the data of the dynamic track tests on theaerial rail,the article analyzes the key technologies for the gangway system such as the structure design, curve negotiating and anti-roll capability, proposes some targeted measures and design processes in terms of functionality,riding quality,etc.and gives the calculation of curve negotiating capability under the extreme fiting conditions.Through the tests caried out,the accuracyof the calculation of simulated curve negotiating capability of the gangway has been verified and a gangway system applicable to the aerial rail cars has been designed and developed,providing a reference for the development and design of the gangway of aerial rail cars.
