Evaluation Method for Extension ofDaily Maintenance Interval and its Application

Abstract:Extending the daily maintenance interval is one of the keys to optimize the maintenance mode of urban rail transit.To give a scientific and reasonable support to the extension of daily maintenance interval, thefeasibilityof extending thedaily maintenance interval isanalyzed theoretically,which is crucialforjudging whether the conditions of implementing the multi-day maintenance are met and whether the vehicles are safe and reliableduring the multi-day maintenance.Byanalyzing the characteristics of thedaily maintenance items and combining the fault data and component reliability data during the train operation,the article proposes a both qualitative and quantitative method foranalyzing the feasibility of extension and comprehensively evaluates the extension of daily maintenance on considering the service condition of the intelligent operation and maintenance equipment.Through analysis and evaluationof the feasibilityof extension,the risk grade and the acceptable maximum maintenance intervalof daily maintenance items can be obtained,and combined with the covering effect of the intellgent inspection equipment,the feasibilityof extending thedaily maintenance can be judged comprehensively. The analysis of extending the one-day maintenance to the 8-day maintenance on a metro line in Shijiazhuang shows that this evaluation method allows to effectively evaluate the feasibility of extendig the daily maintenance interval and further realize the trial implementation of the multi-day maintenance mode with security measures so as to reduce the workload of daily maintenance and improve the efficiency of train maintenance and the availability of vehicles.
