Abstract:The proposition of the“spirit of educators”holds theoretical significance and practical value,serving as a guiding beacon for modernizing traditional teacher ethics. Conceptually, traditional teacher“ethics” inherently represents a“virtue” integrating moral character and ethical conduct,constituting its universal foundation. The core challnge of this modernization lies in the divergent social roles of traditional versus contemporary educators.The“spirit of educators” efectively addresses this challnge by providing dual guidance:1. Enriching and developing the current teacher ethics policy framework and evaluation system,which overemphasizes external norms.2.Establishing an“exemplary character” for educators in the new era, offering a guiding paradigm for individual ethical cultivation.
