“郑声淫”的历史阐释及其意蕴探论

Abstract: After Confucius put forward propositions of“the music of Zheng being seductive”,and“casting aside the music of Zheng”,over thecourse of more than two thousand years of historical development,there have been numerous disputes over their connotations and implications.As to study the many interpretations in history,the representative views can be summarized into four types.One is that the music of Zheng wasaddicted to lust,seductive music refers to erotic.Second,the music of Zheng lies in the rhythm,seductive music refers to rhythm.Third,the music of Zheng lies in both its poetryandits voice,seductive music refers to poetryand rhythm.Fourth,the musicof Zheng isanew voice,seductive musicrefers tothenew voice.Fromthis,itcanbeconcludedthatthemusicof Zhengis“the musicof the statesof ZhengandWei"andshouldberegardedasnewsongs,butit isnot entirelyunrelatedtothe ZhengFengand Wei Feng.Confucius’allege that the music of Zheng is seductive mainly emphasizes that its vocal music was deviated from formaleremonial music,butit alsoimplies that music,poetryand dance are allseductive.The issueofsductive music does notmerely lieinoverlycorrect musical instruments,but alsoinoverlycomplicated instrumentsand techniques; poetic debauchery is notonlyabout theexpression oflust,but also about the improper expresion of emotions; theuseof seductive dance lies in the application offemale instrumental performersand actors.
