Study on the Impact and Mechanism of the Digital Economy on the Level of High-quality Development of Marine Economy

Abstract：As an important driving force promoting high-quality development of theeconomy，the digital economy is gradually empowering the marine sector and has become a crucial engine driving the marine economy towards high-quality development.It is of great significance to explore the impact of the digital economyon the highquality development of marine economy and research the underlying mechanism within the context of the new era of building a strong maritime nation.The entropy value method is used to measurethe digital economy and the highqualitydevelopment of the marine economybasedon the paneldata from 11 coastal provinces from2O1l to 2020， to empirically analyze the correlation between them，and expand the study to the spatial dimension．The results show that the digital economy significantly improves the level of high-quality development of the marine economy， demonstratinganobvious positivecorrelation；industrialstructureandtheleveloflocal financialdevelopmentenhance the transmisson efciencyof thedigital economy，and strengthen its influence effectof thedigital economyon the high-quality development of the marine economy;further research finds that，after the digital economy reaches a certain scale，the digital elements difuse to the neighboring regions，and the digital economy has aspatial spillover effect othe level of high-qualitydevelopment of marine economy.Finally，the study provides suggestions for improving the investment structure，optimizing financial services and promoting the high-quality development of the marine economy.
