Experimental Study on the Biological Blockage Response of the Network Which Protects the Cold Source of Nuclear Power Plant

Abstract:This studyanalyzes the structural stress characteristicsofa debris filternetunder various marine biological blockageconditions.Firstly,the velocityofcurrents near Water intake is measured based on shipborme ADCP,using the Karman-Prandtl modelandpolynomial interpolationmethods wereemployed toreconstructthe vertical velocityprofiles fromstratifiedobservationdata.Subsequently,tafinite element(FE)modelofthe filternet wasdeveloped,andits mechanicalresponse wascalculated under diferent blockage scenarios.Theresults indicate that thethree-orderpolynomial fiting is more suitable fortheobservationsea areathan the Karman-Prandtlmodel.When the blocking heightisless than 7m ,the minimumoftheforceissmall,whichis thesafety zoneof therope; when theheightofblockage is greaterthan 7m , themaximumoftheforceshowsasignificantlinearincreasewiththeelevation increasing.Consequently,thesectionofthe net above 7m is identifiedasahigh-risk area,where the structural risk escalates graduallywith increasing blockage height.
