Abstract: Under the background of“dual-carbon”targets,the vigorous development of ofshore wind power is a keylink to promote energy transformation.However,with therapid shift toward large-scale and intensiveoffshore windclusters,the underlying environmental concerns have gradually emerged,particularly regarding the ongoing controversy over the impact of offshore wind farms(OWFs)on bird habitats and behavior.Through an online bird monitoring system for offshore wind farms based on AIrecognition technology,in-depth exploration of bird species andbehavioralchanges aroundoffshore wind farms during theoperation period.Theresults showed thattheoperation of thetarget wind farm did not significantly afect theseasonal migration and daily activity patterns of birds in he surrounding area.Guls were the dominant Passeriformesat the wind farm,with significantlyreduced flight speeds andactive avoidanceof the turbine bladesNotably,mostsmallPasseriformes andcertainraptors utilizedtheoffshore substation as atemporary roostingand refuge site.Theresultsof this studycan provide areference for theecological friendliess assessment offuture offshore wind farms andenrichthe technical means forintellgent supervision of birds in offshore wind farms.
