AbstractObjective：Toexplore thedynamic trajectoryofestimated pulsewavevelocity in middle-agedandelderlypeopleandits relationshipwithcardiovasculardiseases.Methods：BasedonthepopulationcohortdatafromtheChinahealthandretirementlongitudinal study（CHARLS），eneralinformationandlaboratoryindicatorsofthepopulationwerecolected.Thegroup-basedtrajectorymodel （GBTM）wasusedtoconstructtheheterogeneoustrajectoriesoftheestimatedpulsewavevelocitydynamics inthecommunityamongthe elderlyLogstcegressanalysisasapledtoxploeteelatioshipetweentetimatedpulseavevelocitydynaictrajeto andcardiovasculardiseases.Results：Atotalof5933 participants were included intheanalysis，among whom1112cases （18.7% ） developedcardiovasculardiseases.TheGBTManalysisrevealedfourestimatedtrajectoriesofpulsewavevelocitychanges：thelow-level stable group （30.0% ），the medium-level ascending group （39.6%） ，the ascending and stable group （23.0% ），and the high-level ascending group （7.4% ）.Logisticregressionanalysis showedthat，afteradjusting forconfounding factors，compared with thelow-levelstable group， theriskofcardiovasculardiseasessigiicantlyincreasedintemedium-levelascendinggroup，theascendngandstablegoupdthe high-levelascendinggroup.Conclusions：Theestimatedpulsewavevelocitytrajectoriesof theelderlyinthecommunityshowed populationheterogeneityThehigherestimatedpulsewavevelocitytrajectorieswascorelatedwiththeocurrenceofardiovascular diseases.Itissuggestedthatmedicalstaffshouldpayatentiontothechangesintheestimatedpulsewavevelocityoftheelderlyand formulate corresponding intervention strategies based on different trajectories.
