Abstract:Laser weapons,whichutilize high-brightness,ntenselaser beams todestroytargets,represent advanced weaponrycharacterizedbyhigh precision,significantdestructivepower,andstronganti-jamming capabilities.Giventheglobal emphasis ontheirdevelopment,theimplementationof protective measures againstlaser weapons has becomeaprimary research focus forscientists.This paper introduces thecomposition,working principles,interaction mechanisms with materials,and modes of destructionassciated withlaser weapons.Laserprotective materialsand their underlying protective mechanisms are summarized.The types and current research status of laser protective materials are reviewed,highlighting thepositiverolesofmetalicmaterials,resin-basedmaterials,andceramicmaterialsinlaserprotection.Progressinhere searchof highreflectivitymaterialsandablation-resistantmaterialsforlaserprotectivecoatings isalsooutlined.inaly,it isnotedthat currentlaserprotection technologiesstill possesscertain limitations,particularlyasresearchonhighreflectivitycoatingsremainsrelativelyscare.Predictionsandprospectsforfutureresearchdirectionsinlaserprotectivematerials are presented.
