Research on process technology for thickness control of carbon fiber composite parts

Abstract:Withthewidespreadapplicationofcarbonfibercompositepartsintheaerospacefield,thequalitycontrolof composite parts have become increasinglycritical.Atpresent,the composites used inthe aerospace field are mainly epoxy resin-basedcarbon fibercomposites.Thethicknessof the partscan directlyreflectthe fibervolumecontentof the parts, making itaprimary indicatorforpartacceptance.This papermainlydescribes the methods tocontrolthethicknessof parts by adjusting process parameters,optimizing the lay-up method,and modifying the fixture form.
