Research and preparation of hollow fiber detection liquid for low thermal expansion glass fabric

Abstract:Inthisstudy,atesting methodforhollowfibers inglassfabricwasintroduced,andadetectionliquidfordentify inghollow fibersinlowthermalexpansionglassfabricwasdevelopedbyblendingbenzylbenzoateandsunfloweroil ina specific ratio.It was found that when the mass fraction of benzyl benzoate in the detection liquid reached 48% ,the refractive index ofthe liquid matched thatof thelowthermal expansionglassUndertheseconditions,thedetection performance for hollw fiberswasoptimal.Thepreparedliquddemonstratedalow melting point,awideapplicable temperaturerange,low viscosity,andlow surface tension.Furthermore,it exhibited excellentstability,safety,and cost-effctiveness.

低热膨胀玻璃纤维布(Low-CTEGlassFabric,以下简称“LCTE玻璃纤维布”)作为印刷电路板(PCB)的核心增强材料,因其具有极低的热膨胀系数(CTE),能有效匹配半导体芯片的CTE,显著降低使用过程中的热应力,从而极大提升电子封装器件的可靠性和使用寿命,已成为高端通信设备、高性能计算、航空航天电子以及先进封装等领域的首选基材之一[1,2]
