Abstract: Objective To detect the expression long non-coding ribonucleic acid(LncRNA) DNA damage activated non-coding RNA(NORAD) in primary intracerebral hemorhage( PICH) and to analyze its correlation with the prognosis this disease.MethodsEighty-one PICH patients treated in the Hospital from January 2018 to August 2O23 were selected and assigned to the PICH group. Additionally,81 healthy subjects who underwent physical examinations during the same period were selected as the control group. Serum LncRNA NORAD expression was detected in both groups using real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR). Three months after discharge, patients with poor and good prognosis were assigned to the poor prognosis group and good prognosis group, respectively. Serum LncRNA NORAD expression was compared between the two groups. A Logistic regression model was used to analyze the influencing factors poor prognosis in PICH. The predictive efficacy serum LncRNA NORAD expresson for poor prognosis in PICH was evaluated using the receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve. ResultsCompared with the control group, the serum LncRNA NORAD expression in the PICH group was increased( P<0.05 ).The PICH poor prognosis rate was 28.77% . Logistic regression model analysis showed that Glasgow coma scale(GCS) score at admission, hematoma volume, early rehabilitation treatment, and serum LncRNA NORAD expression were influencing factors PICH prognosis( P<0.05 ).The best cut-f point serum LncRNA NORAD for predicting PICH poor prognosis was 1.5O,with a sensitivity 80.95% and a specificity 75.00% ,and the area under the curve(AUC)was O.786.ConclusionsLncRNA NORAD is abnormally highly expressed in PICH patients, and is associated with GCS score at admission, hematoma volume, and early rehabilitation treatment as influencing factors PICH prognosis.
